Consultation

I offer a free 20-minute consultation (either on the phone, virtually, or in my office), so you can get a sense of whether we have a good match.

Reduced Fees

If you cannot afford my fee, please let me know because I do have a limited sliding scale or I can connect you with another counsellor to serve your needs.

Rates

$155 per 60-minute individual session.
$185 per 90-minute couples session.

Payment

Cash, check, e-Transfer and all major credit cards accepted for payment.

Also, direct billing available for many extended health providers – please inquire for member eligibility.

If you have uploaded credit card details in JaneApp then you will be billed automatically once I’ve indicated that you arrived for your session, and a receipt will be emailed to you – ready for submission to your extended health provider when direct billing is unavailable.

Affiliated Insurance Providers

If your plan does not cover Registered Therapeutic Counsellors, but only covers Registered Psychologists, Social Workers and/or Counsellors with other designations, you can make a request to your employer, through the Human Resources Department, that they adjust their plan to include counselling by an RTC & MTC designation. Many employers are not aware that making this change to their plan is easy to do, and at no extra cost to them.

Cancellation Policy

If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session. Cancellations within 24 hours, you will be charged 50% of the session cost.
